About Us
Who are We?
We are a group of dreamers and doers who believe that there is still hope for Lebanon. We believe that change is possible and that we as citizens should fight to get the life we deserve.
We are staying here, rising again, and moving forward, fighting for governance, transparency, accountability, justice, rule of law, freedom, inclusion, diversity, and equity, through good citizenship, social responsibility, civic engagement, tolerance, solidarity, sustainability, and development UNTIL BEIRUT BECOMES A UTOPIA !
Our Vision: We foresee a nation free from corruption, with equal opportunities for all, enjoying a safe, green, healthy, and even thriving environment!
In order to achieve this vision, we came up with three programs, each of which, tackles an essential area that helps reach our utopic dream for Lebanon. Those programs are:
Beirut Busy Bees
People, greenery and public spaces are the focus of this program.
Koumi
Women, their freedom and rights are the focus of this program.
Beywatch
Fighting corruption and bribery are the focus of this program.
Our Values

- Decision making taken democratically in a way that does not compromise or deviate the purpose of the NGO

- Transparency approach in declaring funding and spending
- We value gender equality, and pay special attention to youth, people with special needs, and women.
- We value mother earth and act as an Environmentally friendly NGO in practice.
Our Family
Our Volunteers benefit from an organized and professional volunteering platform. Basic interpersonal skills training is provided when needed, making the volunteering experience a source of potential employment for the volunteer especially when the latter has proven efficient is his/her allocated task.
The Beirutopia Volunteer department will be highly focused on:

- Recruiting volunteers from academic and technical institutions
- Providing adequate training sessions (technical, conceptual etc.)
- Helping volunteers with career guidance and orientation

All underprivileged people living in Lebanon who can benefit from empowerment, or in kind support to be able to lead a more sustainable, safer and healthier life and become a more productive and positive member of the community they live in.
Advocates and ambassadors with a network of specialists – among which lawyers, social activists and international human rights associations, businessmen, businesswomen, philanthropists, writers, researchers, journalists, educators, community managers and more.
We pride ourselves for the participatory approach we follow at Beirutopia, through:
